Data protection according to German standards
Data security and protection are becoming more and more important and especially with highly sensitive data, misuse can lead to enormous economic damage. This is why data and IT security are so important to us and have top priority.
All applications and data are encrypted in a high-security data center in Germany and are only transmitted between the server and your browser in encrypted form. The data sovereignty always lies with end client.
Infrastructure and servers
The United Signals infrastructure is hosted on high-security data centers in Germany, which are certified according to DIN EN IS-27001. All data centers have been certified by an external auditor according to SSAE 16 / ISAE 3420 Type I and Type II.
The servers meet the particularly high Tier 3+ security standard. All data is exclusively encrypted on the servers. Data protection services are secured in accordance with § 9 BDSG.
Interfaces and data sovereignty
Any kind of data transmission is exclusively encrypted (SSL/HTTPS/TLS/SSH). Using the newest client technology, all data is encrypted and secured during transport and processing. Sensitive data (e.g. access data) is never sent to the client.
There is no unauthorized use of the client data by third parties at any time – all data authorizations are subject to the end client.
Protection against unauthorized access
We apply strict internal security requirements and guidelines in our work. Therefore the drives with the databases are always encrypted. The key is physically stored in a safe. To ensure a high security standard, we use a modular security architecture and security frameworks against attacks by hackers.
To be able to guarantee you our security standards, our IT security experts ensure that security is maintained and permanently optimised at all times, so that you as a company, your data and information as well as your privacy are optimally protected.
